UMI Performance 91-96 Impala SS Adjustable Extended Length Lower Control Arms with Rod Ends

UMIPerformance extended length control arms are designed to properly center therear wheels in the vehicles wheel well on the Impala SS. These control arms areextended 5/8?�? but also feature additional adjustment to perfectly center therear end. The adjustment allows the user to lengthen or shorten the controlarms an additional ???�? beyond the already extended 5/8 of an inch. The controlarms are built from 1.500?�? DOM tubing and fully TIG welded for the utmost instrength. Control arms also feature the correct provisions for adding a stockor aftermarket sway bar. The provided sway bar holes are reinforced with a0.120?�? all thickness steel sleeve TIG welded and sanded in place. The sway barattaches to the control arms using a billet aluminum spacer contoured correctlyto follow shape of the round tubing and properly attach the sway bar to thecontrol arms in the factory location. The control arms attach to the rear endusing spherical bearing rod ends which operate for a bind free operation whenhigh handling is a concern. This set-up allows the suspension to articulatecorrectly while the polyurethane end bolts to the chassis to absorb unwantedroad noise. NOTE: In some cases, depending on ride heightvariation, it may be necessary to install a longer driveshaft when usingextended length control arms.
